Add the lead capture widget to your website
The embed widget is a single script tag. It adds a chat and lead capture form to your site, posts submissions into your Lytle.ai pipeline, and triggers an instant AI reply.
Install the script
- 1Open Settings and find the Website embed panel.
- 2Copy the script tag shown there — it already contains your workspace key.
- 3Paste it immediately before the closing </body> tag on every page of your site, or into the global footer/custom code area of your website builder.
- 4Publish your site, load a page, and submit a test enquiry.
- 5Open Leads in Lytle.ai and confirm the test enquiry appears with the correct source.
Where to place it
- Site-wide footer: best coverage, recommended for most agents.
- Listing pages only: useful if you want the widget to appear alongside property detail pages.
- Landing pages: pair the widget with a single call to action for paid traffic.
Troubleshooting
- Widget not visible: check the script was added to the published site, not just the draft, and hard-refresh the page.
- Submissions missing: confirm the workspace key in the script matches the one in Settings.
- Duplicate leads: the widget de-duplicates by email and phone, so the same person messaging twice updates one contact rather than creating two.
Consent language matters
If you plan to text leads, the widget's consent checkbox must stay enabled. See the SMS consent guide before turning it off.
